Bealesy
For those that don’t understand the significance of Chris ‘Bealesy’ Beales, here’s the low down:
We love him here at Bushy Park, simply because he started the weekly Crits, he has been the dedicated creator and sole organiser of the Crits for the last 10 years, thats a long time. 2008 marks the first year since its inception that Knobbysports wont be run with Chris at the steering wheel. He’s over seas following other ambitions but still wants to stay in contact with his loyal riders. So every now and then you’ll see a post from the big wig himself on what’s going down over the other side of the world.
WHATS HAPPENING, AND WHERE HAS BEALESY GONE? I’m living in Thames Ditton, south of the Thames River, near Hampton Court Palace. Working for Sigma Sport, a bike shop in Hampton Wick near Kingston. I run the warehouse side of the things, as well as ordering etc. I have been racing with the LVRC which is the veterans league and finished 3rd overall in the 2009 series in the 40 to 45 age category. And raced in the Surrey league as a Category 2 rider and picked up a win from 2 races. Teresa has a lovely English “detached” 2 storey house, with a nice long back garden. I will be here for at least 2 years and then who knows?
