Knobbysports are Mountain Bike Racing promoters. Our main aim is to provide enjoyable racing for all cyclist of all ages. If your interest is racing, Knobbysports promotes Cross Country Criteriums.
Knobbysports is run by the following dedicated person;
Chris Beales
Race Director (Chief and Indian) and all round general good guy of Knobbysports. Chris was also the AMBA Representative for Victoria to Cycling Australia and was also a member of the Victorian Mountain Bike Commission. Chris was also on the Board of Cyclesport Victoria as the mountain bike rep. Chris has been involved in mountain biking as a competitor and volunteer administrator. In 1999 Chris was awarded Volunteer Commissaire of the Year from Cycling Australia, and in 2000 was awarded cycling volunteer of the year in Victoria.
In 2007 Chris won the Australian Veterans Road Championships, 45 - 50yo.
He has also run and organised the Mt Baw Baw Classic road cycling race, and Mountain climbers Championship since 2001.
