To Pinnacle Paul, Scotty Liston and all Knobbysports MTB crit diehards, it gives me great satisfaction to see the continuation of our institution.

I will be keeping a keen eye on the web site and of course facebook, join the knobbysports page.

I am also looking forward to catching up with everyone when i get back home for a holiday in Jan 2010, i will be dropping in on the Wed 20th, might even grovell around for a lap or two, so put this in the diary.

Posted on 3rd March 2009 by admin in General

Luke Benson of C grade has been kind enough to put together this video of a hot lap around the Bushy Park course. He appologises for the song choice, but it was the only song he had that went for 5 minutes.

SCOTT’s Ride

Posted on 14th March 2008 by admin in Events

This message is for those that have contacted me about my social ride on Sunday. Numbers are full!

Hello everyone. Just a reminder that My ride will be taking place this Sunday The 16th of March. The ride will take approximately 2.5 hours and it looks like its going to be a little hot so remember the sun lotion and lots of water.

We wont be smashing ourselves and there will be frequent stops to ease the load.

Don’t forget those spare tubes and pumps either.

There has been ONE MINOR CHANGE, that is we are starting at Officer Recreation Reserve (Melway Ref 214 J,3) for a little extra distance to warm up to the track.

See you all there

65 of the Best!

Posted on 31st January 2008 by admin in Events

G’Day All
Well what a cracker of a night, the whole of the mountain bike world turned out for another excellent nite of racing at THE ORIGINAL MTB CRITS, 65 that’s right 65 riders greeted the new format of racing.
All the riders racing individually as well as for their teams gave it all they had with some great results, all can be seen on the results page, after Pinnacle Cycles won the innaugral Teams Bragging Trophy, Croydon Cycleworks absolutly annilated the opposition to take a commanding lead after round 1 in series 2, Mick Jamison and his team had points in all classes, now what will the other teams do??
a huge thanks to all who turned out and hope to see you all next week, i have only 4 weeks left before i leave for Italy, dont forget the last nite for me is also the Australian Crit Champs and pizza nite and more than likely a chance for me to say goodbye to one and all.
Cheers Bealesy

New Format

Posted on 29th January 2008 by admin in Events

G’Day All
Starting this week we are trialling a new format to make it easier for our lap scoring and better timing control.
Due to the large numbers, which we are pleased with, we are finding difficult in giving you the riders the best timing and lap scoring at the combined C and D grades.
So from this week we will have A, Women and C grades starting at 6.30pm, followed by B, Juniors and D grades.
Each week we will alternate the start so each grade gets to start first, all you have to remember is to be there at 6.30pm.
So next week it will be B, D and Jun first then A, C and Women.
